Portrait photographer:
  • Job description- Captures the likeness of a person with facial expressions predominant.
  • Skills- Know how to be creative, know your equipment and be able to work it, read the light, be able to develop pictures and print photographs.
  • Educational requirements- A bachelor of arts in photography with a portfolio would be helpful for getting a job in the photography field.
  • Opportunity- you can work for many charities and volunteer to take photos for them. Also, many people want pictures to captures moments in time, so photographers are always needed.  
  •  Setting- When working as a photographer you will usually work in a studio or on location like a school or an amusement park. Many photographers will also let you choose where you want the pictures done, so they don't have just one specific place to take their pictures.
  • Salary- When you start off you can make around 20,000-35,00but, after around five years you can be making 46,000.
  • Before- To get the skills that build up to be a portrait photographer, you can take photography classes and art classes in high school and in college to get familiar with taking pictures and how to development. You could also work as an intern to another photographer so you actually get a feel for the job you are about to take on. 

Production artist-
  • Job description: last person to see a design before it is published. They edit and need to be able to use acrobat and in design. 
  • Skills: Background with classes you can take in high school (graphic design) , bachelors degree in graphic design, past experience.
  • Salary: $60-250 per hour. 
Art director- 
  • Job description: Supervise and critique the visual appearance so it meets the clients needs.
  • Educational requirements: obtain this jobs skills by working with certain computer programs. Some sort of degree in the field of graphic design or advertisement.
  • Skills: being good with people and being able to constructively criticize them.
  • Salary: $35,000-85,000 a year.
Creative director- 
  • Job description- make sure the needs of client are being met, come up with new ideas and make deadlines, over see the design of the project.
  • Skills- have good leadership skills, keep people on track, organized.
  • Education- some sort of degree in fine arts or visual arts. some experience.
  • Salary- $52,000-150,000 a year. 
Illustrator-
  •  Job description- develops books, to greeting cards. Creates images and technical to not technical drawings. 
  • Skills- good techniques are creative mind, take internship
  • Education- bachelor in fine arts. 
  • Salary- $44,000-55,000. More experience $74,000
Web designer- 
  • Job description- Responsible created world wide web pages for a client. He or she is responsible or giving a look to the website.
  • Skills- Strong verbal and communicating skills. Knowledge or the most current HTML extensions. 
  • salary- $51,000-74,000 per year. 
  • Education- four year college degree or two year associates degree or no education required. 
Package designer- 
  • Job description- Create and design packaging for different products.
  • Education- bachelors degree in communication. 
  • Skills- general knowledge of the folds and creases in packages.

Comic book artist-

SPD-

  • Promotes and encourages success in editorial design. Give out internships and scholarships to its members to partake in. 
Computer animator-
  • Job description- works with computers to make ideas come to life.
  • Skills- artistic ability, familiarize with computer animation programs, creativity.
  • Education-Knowledge of animation programs and artistic experience.
  • Salary- $61,000 per year.
    PIAG-
    • Meaning- Printing and imaging association of Georgia.
    • Description- to educate the public about the importance of print to act as a catalyst for growth of printing and imaging industry, and the strengthen and support its members through valuable educational and business resources. 
    Documentary photographer- 
    • Description- used to capture significant and historical events such as wars, poverty, as opposed to the beauty of nature or fantasy.
    • Education- bachelors degree in photo journalism, training in digital photography, and photographic software.
    • Skills- experience in photography, passion for current events, and world history. Adaptable for change.
    • Salary- $39,000 starting. May increase.
    Advertising photography- 
    • Description- take picture of various subjects and other products for promotional materials.
    • Skills- know how to use a digital camera, be able to process film, and be able to use Photoshop or other graphic design programs.
    • Education- bachelors in photography or fine arts (not necessary)
    • Salary- $35,980 starting.
    Editorial photography- 
    • Description- take pictures for magazines, can be the cover image or the images that go along with the articles. 
    • Skills- need to know how to use a digital camera, be able to use Photoshop and illustrator.
    • Education- bachelors degree in photography or fine arts.
    • Salary- $17,000-61,000 per year.
    Fashion photographer-
    • Description- genera of photography devoted to display clothing and other fashion items
    • Skills- knowledge of photography and fashion, good communication skills. 
    • Education- associates, or bacholors degree in photography.
    • Salary- 20,000-100,000 or higher.
    Photo journalist-
    • Description- take pictures that tell story's, also take pictures that compliment news worthy articles.
    • Skills- photography skills, and usage of camera. Be able to use technology. Be familiar with different ways to take pictures.

    Sports photography-
    • Description- do various jobs taking pictures involving sports and sporting events. 
    • Skills- knowledge of camera and lighting, composition skills

    NAPP-
    • Stands for- national association of Photoshop users.
    • What they do- they have a website you sign up for. They have enhancing light sources, preparing for photoing for online printing. You pay to me a member. Magazine called "Photoshop user"
    • Education- bachelors degree, know all about Photoshop. 
    NPPA- 
    • Stands for- national press photographers association. 
    • What they do- represents and protects photojournalists in the field. 
    Copywriter-
    • What they do- they write the text for any graphic like a poster.
    • Skills- good with text, grammar and English, be creative and cleaver with your text. 
    • Education- journalism or English major. 
    • Salary-$ 75-125 an hour for free lance text. 
    Freelance- 
    • What it is- work for yourself verse a company. You are in charge of all of the administration work and getting the clients.
    • Education- degree in graphic design of you're a free lance designer.
    • Skills- be able to use all of the programs.
    • Salary- $50-75 an hour.
